Woolganics winter coat

I knitted this coat or rather a long cardigan as a main winter overall for 3 year old. I am still considering adding lining but I don't really believe I am up to it. Though it would be warmer and cardigan would keep shape better. Anyway, Woolganics is a wonderful super soft and squishy Australian organic merino that is super warm too. This garment should be warm enough to keep the little girl cosy in the coldest months.

Pictures taken last weekend camping up in the mountains. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get photos until weather cools down.

Lattice shawl

I love the texture of this shawl. So rich and interesting. Madelinetosh Tosh DK yarn in Blackcurrant colourway is quite nice match for the pattern. I hope the shawl owner will be happy and it will get lots of wear over the coming cold season.

WIP Rosamund's cardigan

Between kindergarten start, rain and other quite fundamental changes in life I have neglected blog posts in the past month. My apologies. Now things are settled down and I am happy to show photos of one of my current projects. That is Rosamund's cardigan. I am knitting it for another Ravelry lady from Madelinetosh Erin Heritage Wool Series 100% wool. Yarn is pretty, grey colour shades are amazing but it feels as real wool. As I have heard it gets softer after wash so it should be all right for a cardigan that will not be worn next to skin anyway.
