The top I was talking a while ago in unfinished projects post is finally done! I am happy that I have managed to rework straps and made it wearable.

Pink and brown dress - done!
Finished this on Dec 31st and pics (except the last photo) are taken in our backyard just before we left the house to go see fireworks. For some reasons this dress is a hit and little girl has literally lived in it for a past few days as she really loves it.
Next day I added little snowflake embellishment on front as seen on the last picture. Maybe will add some more as per request (constantly repeated!) of dress owner.

WIP brown and pale pink
I have always liked pale pink and chocolate brown combination but my girls seemed to favour only pink with no additions. Last night I just happened to see these two yarns side by side and started knitting instantly regardless of future owners disapproval. Luckily she was very happy this morning when saw this knit.
Would be nice to finish tonight but I don't think that's going to happen. Tomorrow would be good too but not sure of that either as I have some other knitting projects to be finished some time soon. Though the knitted piece is almost twice the size as WIP photo taken earlier today when we had just the perfect weather and very enjoyable for outdoor knitting.

Lace top in Raspberry red
I have knitted quite a few of these tops in different sizes and spent last couple days trying to write down pattern. I can see happy end for this one. Written part is pretty much done, I have to finish charts with all small details to pay attention to, and check maths.
Here are some pics of this top in gorgeous red shade.

Yellow breezy top for a little girl
This is a version of drop stitch sweater adult version. Size 4 in sunflower yellow and short sleeved is just about right for those hot summer nights.

New summer new yellow dress
To celebrate the arrival of summer I managed to finish this yellow dress. It is a bit longish right now. Good to know that kids grow fast :)

Independently growing stash
Well, not totally independently if have to confess honestly. I have had a lot of fun browsing stores and buying yarn for Not So Sure What To Make need. Fills up the corner of my bedroom just nicely :)
Summer comes and I am sure I will eventually find use of all the beautiful cotton in pastel shades and white and olive green linen. Dark eggplant and creamy merino wool in the back might have to wait for a season change.

Hair bow in pink
By request I made this hair bow. Did crocheted square and tied with crochet chain and joined at the back on three strands of crocheted chains. Pink and girly is all that matters to a 2 year old.

Evolution of the Butterfly Cardigan
I just realized I hadn't shared the history of butterfly cardigans here. As I have some kind of creative crisis right now I might as well put the pictures of butterflies way back then and now. Nevertheless I hope soon my mojo returns and I will have some new ideas to share.
2008. First cardigan with butterflies. Obviously I was not into taking good photo shots then.
2011. Another #2 which is really loved by my daughter. It is almost her uniform to preschool in these chilly days :)
2011. #3 or #4 :) Tested how it looked with no hood and with short sleeves. More pictures and info in this post.

2010. Butterfly cardigan #2 meant to replace #1. My daughter didn't like it for whatever reasons. It is made from really nice organic cotton in lovely blue colour with a touch of purple. I am looking for loving new owner or if noone claims it I shall keep it for couple of years until my youngest has grown up to the size.

Pink butterfly cardigan
This is another try to make a nice cardigan that my daughter would wear. One my girl doesn't wear socks, the other doesn't wear cardis - I guess I sound desperate to keep them warm :) Anyway, this is what I knitted in last couple of days. I am going to write up pattern for this cardigan with instructions for both short and long sleeved versions included. And hood. I hope writing this down will motivate me to finish draft pattern to make it ready for testing.
